Vart a daey...
Ask me how my day was... Go on, ask me... Okay fine, I'll ask myself.
"So how was your day, Wolf?"
My day? Well, my day comprised of a percentage of 30% great and 70% ultra-kick-your-own-head-boring.
Yes, the Prime Minister of Malaysia was there to launch our new university campus in Cyberjaya today.
For the first time today:
1. There were more than the usual number of students on campus
2. The Uni was packed with dignitary-type people
3. I've seen most of those elusive international students
4. The Uni actually looked hospitable for a moment
5. The security guards wore proper white uniform
6. All the food at Makanlah were sold out
7. There was ACTUALLY FREE food and beverages! *faints*
The roaring sound of cheering and clapping (despite efforts by a certain group to boycott the uni by asking students not to cheer) was amazing, especially when you're high up on the 3rd floor of the plaza. The live band that was hired to play was amazing too, using all sorts of instruments, both traditional and modern. The Ba'i dude was hilarious, and they all just kept smiling and their music was just pretty much fun and peppy... like their rendition of The Hawaiian Five-O, and some Wong Fei Hung-ish type Chinese song. They made us crack up every second.
But that was all of the exciting part. After the Prime Minister dissapeared into the Hall of Fame to launch this black building, the rest of us students were left stranded at the MDTC plaza because we were told to wait there. We had to wait till 6:30pm after the thing ended so we could give our attendance to each and every one of our lecturers by looking for them among all the people there who were all clothed in black.
The reason so many of us were there because we were bribed with extra 5 marks if we attend the thing. If we didn't, 5 marks will be deducted off our full grade for each subject we took by the end of the semester. Tough shit eh?
My class had it worse because we were allowed(/forced) to redo our "shitty" assignment by Anal-Lecturer-Lady only on the condition that we attend the event. So if we didn't attend the thing, it's an auto-fail on the module.
So there we sat for about 2-3 hours.
Chingy, Cheesy, and I amused ourselves by:
Chingy:
1. Singing nya-nya-nya-nya~~~ in a high-pitched voice
2. Doodling on her hand
3. Showcased a repetoire of sound effects
4. Whining about her boy being stranded in KJ
Cheesy:
1. Reading a book on Japanese sex lingo
2. ... that's pretty much it.
Me:
1. Hand doodling on myself and Kristel
2. Imitating Scooby Doo's voice
3. Acting out wrong-number phone calls through Chingy's knee
4. Imitating wolfy and doggy howls, barks, whines, and noises
5. People watching
Us three:
1. Make up lame-ass funny stories sentence by sentence
2. Sing the Happy Tree Friends theme song
3. Me singing crap on lower octave and Chingy on higher octave
4. Laughing about the Ahificator
5. Telling each other how bored we were
6. Talk nonsense and in messed up German style
Oh, and Amy was just trying to ignore how retarded we were.
What a day...
