I am unaffected

I was watching some telly when my mom came in with the mail.

"Michelle, your Anal-Lecturer-Lady did something to you", she said, passing me a letter.

I was surprised, and confused. "Did what?" I asked, and read the letter, addressed to my parents.

"FORMAL NOTICE - STUDENT'S ABSENTEEISM"

"... We wish to bring to your attention that the above-mentioned student under your care was absent from class without valid reasons. Absenteeism from class must be supported by valid written explanation or Medical Certificate.

Absence exceeding 10% of a course is unacceptable as it will affect his/her performance and we are therefore concerned to ensure his/her attendance improves.

Any further absenteeism without valid reason or prior approval may affect his/her final results"

"... Should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact our lecturer, [Anal-Lecturer-Lady] ..."


Alright, the thing is, I did submit excuse letters on two of the four occasions. The other two days, didn't really bother.

Anyway, after reading the title I went, "Ooh, nothing wan la, it's just a lame disguise threat"

"So it's nothing?" asked my mom.

"Yup"
