Tongue of Colicab's Return
So I'm three months backdated. Doesn't stop me from bursting out hollering, "WES BORLAND'S RETURNING TO LIMP BIZKIT!!!"

Wes mentioned something about working on Bizkit's next album in his website. I didn't quite believe it, so I Googled it out, and true enough, the news is confirmed by MTV.com, VH1.com, and Yahoo! LAUNCH, among others. Most importantly of all, confirmed in Fred Durst's blog, and sort of confirmed in Limp Bizkit's official website, which carries photos of Wes jamming with the band since August 16.

On a side note, I don't recall Limp Bizkit's website to look like it does now. I thought it was all flashy and fancy looking. Looks like the band needs a webmaster (or maybe a new one). Their old website used to be "www.limp-bizkit.com", a page that doesn't open anymore. On a cooler note, their main page of the new site, which is their blog, has the same template as I do :)
Back to the topic, I don't know how I feel about Wes returning to LB. Part of me is absofuckinglutely ecstatic about it, and another part of me is, well, not exactly liking that fact. Wes left LB three years ago because he felt trapped, that he wasn't doing what he really wanted musically. Currently, there's no statement from Wes on why he's returning or for how long. I'm sure Wes' got his head right so I'm gonna support him on that. But I'd hate to see him returning to his old predicament in the future, like a bad dejavu. His new record's 75% done, but because of Bizkit's recording he'll be putting that on hold, but might be able to finish the record right before his tour with LB starts.

Will Wes make Limp Bizkit his priority from now on? Will he go back to the mainstream which was the reason why he left?

I want to see Eat the Day and Big dumb Face grow. The development and potential power of Wes' upcoming record might be stunted with his renewed popularity in Limp Bizkit. Then again, it could possibly help push sales in a way, especially by obssessy with wessy fans.

So Mike Smith (dude from Snot), Wes' replacement, has been shoved out of LB. He never looked as if he fit into the whole LB picture anyway all this while. Speaking of him, he looks awfully like that psycho housemate Chandler had in an episode of Friends in Limp Bizkit's video, Eat You Alive. I don't remember that actor's name though. Heh...

In conclusion, I'm not sure if Wes' getting back into Limp is a great thing, but as long as he still comes out with good shiet and is happy about it, then it's all good :)
*Update:
Wes' blog entry in Limp Bizkit's website dated October 21, 2004, which includes his statement on his returning:
We're packing up and heading north to record a new album. Los Angeles is too comfortable for us, so we have to leave our everyday lives behind . This music is hungry for our blood, and we have to feed it what it wants. The gear's in the road cases, the trucks are being loaded, and the absentee ballots are in the mail. We have about two months before the holidays hit. Do you think we can hammer it out before Christmas? We'll see. Let's get down to brass tacks here. I've been gone for a long time. I don't regret anything that's happened over the past 3 years. It couldn't have happened any other way. I had some time to explore some other things, and after searching I came to the conclusion that this band was not an accident. There is a chemistry here that I haven't found anywhere else. There's an intention and an electricity that exists which is bigger than the individual members, despite their differences. We're very excited about the music we are writing at the moment, and we are very grateful that we get the chance to do this again with our friend Ross Robinson on board. We'll be updating the site more and more as the record progresses, and posting new pictures from the studio as we take them. The amount of support from the fans of this band is staggering. I can't wait to get back out on the road next year. I'm picking up my suitcase and walking out the door.
(p.s..... when I said "hammer it out by Christmas" I in no way meant that we would try to release an album by Christmas. I was saying that I hope we will finish recording by then. Thank you and goodnight...)

is it coincidence or does ur site look exactly like thiers? hmm
btw, bigdumbface is a joke band, and if you hear thier shit, i do believe u'd seriously doubt thier ability to grow
Alfred
Like I implied, it's coincidence, I haven't seen this site of theirs before I wrote this blog entry..
I know BdF can't really grow, but I don't mind hearing new BdF shit, even if it's for a joke, or as an experiment to create the stupidest music he can make, or to rile up Limp fans' way of thinking, as Wes wanted.
Eat the Day sure as hell is growing, but BdF shouldn't die either. Check out BdF's new song 'Darkness Becomes'. You can get the link to it from Wes' site under 'News'.

That's the first place I knew about Wes getting back into LB too.
Word of wisdom: Stupidity will not die.
Rock on Alfred...
