Ditching Two Thousand Four
This is my last entry for the year, today I'll be heading to Ipoh to celebrate 2005's birth, so,
Unlike the years before, I haven't really thought about what was great or horrible about 2004. So, off the top of my head now, I'll just dish some out, non-chronological.
GOOD:
Okay I can't really think of much... this year has been stressful, lame, but good overall. Please ignore my contradictions.
I haven't figured out any new year's resolutions yet. But I promise that 2005 will bring better things. It's gonna be great... I'll have some college video productions going on, and I'll be heading off to Australia around July... I hope to be better as a person too.
Anyways, my uncle who emigrated to New Zealand came down yesterday to go to Ipoh with us. He's a superb guitar player, Jimi Hendrix-esque, and he's just plain too good. His kids are musicians. Oh yeah, my point is, that it felt good to be in the presence of one of my guitar-pro uncles. AND... he told me that about two years ago his wife -my aunt- who works in Australia, met Wes Borland and Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit!!
Well, being the older generation, she didn't know who this goateed guy and this huge tattooed dude was when they walked into her shop. Wes wanted to buy a watch. Apparently he told her that he was playing at Big Day Out. Somehow, Wes had to show his ID and credit card or some crap but it was really funny. Anyways, Wes bought a really nice beautiful watch... I'll try to get more details from my uncle later... I was too in shock to remember anything. Oh yeah... my aunt, she's so dope, she even took the security camera tape back home and showed it to her kids. I bet they were stoked as shit.
Ah well, that's the hugest and raddest fact I know of 2004. I am |----| this much closer connected to Wes *hails to the guitar god*
Afters eons of knocking back beers, I'm finally immune to it. I just had four beers just now, and I feel nothing. Not that I'm numb or anything, I mean, that I don't feel like I'm under the influence. Squat. Still had great vision, acted normally, everything was normal, and I played pool better than I usually did. I need to be challenged here, c'mon.
Well, there's some last minute highlights of the year, so my friends, be safe, take care of yourselves, don't DUI, spread the love, and I'll see you next year! Cheers!
HAPPY FUCKING NEW YEAR GUYS!!!

ooo thats sounds interesting =) the only famous ppl i met up right is Paul Moss...and being 5 rows away from Linkin Park. How? hehe..
Hello Reta [checked out your friendster profile], nice having you here!
I wish I had met more famous people in my lifetime, but what the hey.
5 rows away from Linkin Park? I was about 5 rows away too, except after four huge bouncers came crashing through the crowds, blinded me with flashlights, and shoved me out and confiscated the tapes from my video camera! *lol*
They could've done that earlier while I was in line waiting to go into the stadium, but the security was too blind to see the f***ing huge camera bag I had slung in front of me. But hey, didn't manage to catch a glimpse of Paul Moss throughout the drama :P
