X'mas shopping turned movie day
Yay finally I got to sit my ass once again in a movie theatre. I think my last movie was Spiderman 2, not too sure. It was an impromtu decision to watch a movie at Mid Valley's GSC, and we bought 9pm tickets for The Polar Express. Apparently it was the movie's opening night but the place wasn't as packed as you would have expected ala Spiderman. Less people with annoying cell phone conversations in the theatre for me :)
We bought the tickets an hour earlier, so we bummed about waiting for time to pass. Guess what? I spotted some guy with a familiar hairstyle, in a familiarskinny bony frame and in a familiar shirt - it was Yu-Ming, with his tiny lock of long hair at the back pleated. Naturally, I pushed him from the back.
Yu-Ming:"Oih! What you pushing"
Me:"Hey man"
(moment of odd staring)
Yu-Ming:"I'm with some people" *pointing*
Me:"Uh, okay? Gotta catch a movie, bye"
Yu-Ming:"Bye"
Man, that felt weird, I didn't know why, and I still don't. Anyways I saw him walk towards and stand beside this really huge girl. I mean, she was tall and she was big-sized. As much as I was trying to comprehend that situation, I gave up, and he later dissapeared, the girl was still standing there though, so maybe he wasn't with her, I'll never know. But it was funny.
Anyway, our movie was about two hours long. It was great! The characters look almost real. Nice storyline, thrilling scenes, great message, I'd give it a 8.5/10.

:
You should save The Polar Express for IMAX 3D! It's the ONLY movie in IMAX 3D in Malaysia anyway.
You pay.
