So far...

I haven't really written a serious blog in awhile, but it's not that I don't have anything to write either. So anyway, my semester break is coming to an end soon, and I haven't achieved much within the week except maybe catching a little bit more sleep than I usually do.

I was involved in a documentary shoot meant for the Malaysian International Fashion Awards along with Jon, Nicole, and Zaid last Monday and Tuesday. Yeah, Mr. Letfee from Limkokwing pulled us into the project in the last minute. It's unpaid work but he mentioned that the documentary would be played on TV.

If only I had a ringgit for every media person trying to sucker me in with that line...

Anyways, we interviewed a large number of local celebs, models, stylists, and fashion editors. By the end of the shoot I was numb mentally from overexposure to these naturally narcissistic people. I didn't do much, but I guess it was good exposure to, um, the fashion world, which is, like, totally gonna help out my career in film and music...

We got lunch money for each day. Somehow I still managed to save some money, so I am now 10 ringgits richer. Please hold your applause.

Jon's one happy camper. He's getting paid for the photos he took during the project, plus he's been called in as a talent for a commercial shoot. Some people just have all the luck.

As for me, I've been in a reflective mood. This is good, because my artwork shines through the best in times like these. I'll pick up my pencil and sketch. My Canon Rebel looks lonely, too. I still have a few rolls of film to use up before they expire. I got the hint.
